Questions wineries ask
What do you do for our winery?+
We taste your wine and decide if we can help. If we are a good match, we introduce your wine to suitable importers and buyers. We explain your wine, arrange the first contact and follow up. You can follow our work in your dashboard. You also receive a report every three months.
Which countries do you work in?+
Germany, Sweden and Denmark. We work with importers who sell to private customers, restaurants and state-owned wine shops. We do not sell directly to the state-owned shops.
How much does it cost?+
€2,500 to get started, then €1,500 each month. You pay monthly in advance. We do not take a percentage of your wine sales.
Do you promise that our wine will sell?+
No. We cannot promise an order or a place on a shop's shelves. The buyer decides. We promise to introduce your wine to the right people, with the right information, and follow up.
Can we still work with other companies?+
Yes. You are free to work with other companies. We will not pitch a competing ARIES winery to the same importer. You can ask us to promote as many of your wines as you like.
Who keeps the contact with the importer?+
You do, from day one. We make the introduction and help with the first steps. You build the relationship directly with the importer. It stays yours, even if you stop working with ARIES.
Why do we need an importer in Sweden?+
Sweden's state-owned wine shops buy through importers. We help you find an importer who is looking for wine like yours. The importer then works with the shops. We do not make deals directly with the shops.
Can we pause or stop?+
Yes. You can stay, pause or stop at the end of any month. You do not have to sign a long-term contract.
